About the opportunity
You will be working in a team comprising of UI/UX designers, behavioural scientists, software engineers, data scientists and engineers to design new ways to empower patients and clinicians to improve clinical outcomes and save lives. You will be responsible to lead in your unique domain of expertise and will collaborate with the team in co-designing user-centric solutions.
As a Software Engineer, you will work with the team to:
- Meet patients, clinicians and healthcare professionals, and deeply understand their unique needs and challenges
- Ideate, test, prototype and refine solutions to meet their needs and challenges
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Design, implement and maintain the Azure cloud-based services for a variety of applications
- Collaborate with designers, data scientists, cloud developers and operations engineers to design, implement and maintain our cloud solutions
- Collaborate with the team to design front-end applications
- Collaborate with the team to develop and improve processes for handling data at scale
- Analyse data, generate insights and produce effective visualizations
- Continuously learn and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new developments in the field
About you
This is a long-term, greenfield program, where you will work on the research and ideation as well as the development and release of new digital healthcare solutions.
We are looking for a someone who is comfortable with working with ambiguity and limited supervision in a nimble team. You will not be afraid of taking ownership of new tasks and to share your ideas. You will be prepared to fail and share learnings. We commit to a safe environment where team members trust each other to experiment, voice their opinions and commit mistakes without judgment, independently of their role or seniority.
- Bachelors’ qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Fluency in Python (preferred), C#, and SQL
- Strong preference for experience designing and implementing services on a cloud platform (Azure is ideal)
- Experience with best practices (Git, Jira / Azure DevOps)
- Strong understanding of statistics, data analytics and data visualization is a bonus
- Web development experience is a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team spirit
- Up to 3-4 years’ experience in industry
