Te Tūranga | About the Role
As one of two Engineering Store people, you will provide support to our engineering team, ensuring parts, materials, and administrative processes are well managed.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage engineering store including issuing, locating, receiving, and cycle counting stock
- Create stock codes and maintain critical spares inventory
- Support the purchase-to-pay process including raising purchase orders, coding transactions, and liaising with suppliers
- Monitor and report on workshop expenditure
- Deliver engineering administration support and assist with data processing and reporting
Without strong store and admin processes, our engineering team can’t deliver their work successfully.
This role, being done well, helps to protect critical systems and minimise production downtime.

You’ll be good at keeping things organized, accurate, and efficient. The right person for this role enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers, and brings a solutions-focused mindset to everything they do.
You will bring:
- Experience in stock and stores management
- A broad understanding of engineering/maintenance operations and health & safety requirements
- Strong organization, time management skills, with good attention to detail
- Proven customer service and communication skills
- Confidence working independently, as well as part of a team
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office systems
- Commercial acumen and the ability to follow purchasing and compliance processes
