Job Description


The Role:

SAE Auckland qualifications are practical and industry-focused, with students learning in hands-on professional studio environments to ensure they are work-ready by the time they graduate. A Studio Supervisor team oversee our audio, music and film studios. This team, coordinated by a Head Studio Supervisor, are responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of SAE Auckland studios and providing support to students during their practical studio sessions. The Studio Supervisors are technically proficient within the studio environment and able to enhance the quality of the educational experience for students.

SAE Auckland is looking for another Studio Supervisor to join the team. This is a permanent part-time position of around 15 hours per week, including weekend and evening shifts, with a minimum guarantee of 8 hours per week.

Applicants should:

  • Be technically proficient and able to learn new technical skills quickly
  • Be able to work with a range of students from differing cultural backgrounds
  • Have outstanding organisational and communication skills
  • Have demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently to achieve required outcomes


Qualifications

  • Hold an SAE qualification, or equivalent, in either audio, music or screen production and/or have industry experience within the professional studio environment
