As a Recruitment Advisor with Oranga Tamariki's Enabling Services portfolio (Corporate Services) you'll provide expert sourcing and selection advice throughout all phases of the recruitment cycle to a wide range of stakeholders, across a variety of roles and lead in delivering a great candidate experience. You will play a key role in sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent for Oranga Tamariki through your partnering with hiring managers to understand their needs and developing tailored recruitment strategies. You'll be valued for your recruitment insights, and your ability to bring a specialist lens to every engagement.
As a trusted recruitment partner and first point of contact for hiring managers you'll achieve this by:
- Providing support and guidance to hiring managers through best practice selection and interview processes
- Managing job postings and advertisements to maximise visibility and engagement
- Proactively sourcing and engaging with candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networking

Ng pumanawatanga ou | What you will bring
You will be a seasoned recruiter with at least 3+ years' experience delivering end-to-end recruitment solutions across a variety of roles, ideally with a blend of agency and in-house experience. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you'll be confident screening resumes, conducting interviews, and assessing candidate fit. You'll bring expertise in sourcing strategies for niche corporate service roles and be well-versed in recruitment technologies that support the full recruitment lifecycle.
Some other key requirements of the role include:
- Strong customer focus and able to move at pace to respond to stakeholders needs.
- Incredible organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and work to tight and competing deadlines
- Experience managing of a range of stakeholders including senior leadership
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga M ori, and Pacific peoples' culture
- Experience running assessment centres and running bulk recruitment campaigns an advantage
