This is a great opportunity to start your career within our Transport & Infrastructure, Surfacing Operation. Develop your skills and gain experience as a Trainee Sprayer Operator.
But what does that really mean? You’ll be spraying bitumen Emulsion (the glue that holds the stones to the road).
It’s a bit more complicated than just that though, you’ll need to ensure the correct spray rates are being applied, doing quality checks, driving the sprayer truck and looking after the plant
This is a Full Time, Permanent role based in Hamilton.
Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua
As you’ll be working on some pretty heavy machinery, you’ll ideally bring with you a Class 4 or 5 Licence.
You’ll also be a team player and need some experience and a keen interest in roading and chip-sealing work. You’ll couple this with
A great work ethic – you’ll be part of a busy team and working some long hours is required (but you’ll be rewarded accordingly)
Strong focus on Safety, Quality and protecting our Environment
Problem solving skills to solve daily challenges
