About the role – Kōrero mō te tūranga
We're looking for a digital-savvy fundraiser to drive growth across our digital channels—leading campaigns, boosting donor engagement, and enhancing supporter journeys to maximise lifetime value. As Advisor Digital Fundraising, you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver integrated, insight-led campaigns that inspire giving. This is anything from one-off and regular donations to peer-to-peer and legacy support. If you’re someone who cares about making a difference and is ready to bring your digital know-how to a cause that matters, read on, we would love to hear from you!
In this role you will be:
- Designing and delivering digital campaigns — including during emergencies
- Helping shape donor journeys from acquisition through to retention
- Using data and insight to keep improving how we communicate and connect
- Bringing smart digital thinking to email, paid, organic, web and more
- Working closely with fundraising and marketing to create great donor experiences
This role sits in our Philanthropy team, but nothing in fundraising works in isolation. You’ll be collaborating often, and your ideas will be welcomed and respected.
Who are we looking for? – Mā wai te mahi nei?
You might be a fundraiser already or come from a digital background and want to grow into one. Either way, you have:
- Proven experience in digital fundraising with a strong track record of driving income and supporter engagement.
- Solid understanding of digital acquisition, lead nurturing, and donor retention across integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Hands-on experience with digital tools including email platforms (e.g. Campaign Monitor), Meta and Google Ads, Google Analytics, and CMS (e.g. Silverstripe).
- Confident using data to evaluate campaign performance and make insight-driven decisions.
- Strong collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in the non-profit sector and knowledge of digital strategies for engaging older audiences and managing donation platforms is a plus.
