What You'll Do
- Monitor inventory within the parts system, complete daily stock counts, and communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members
- Assist Tesla Body Repair Centres with parts related questions via email and phone
- Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries
- Prioritize and efficiently manage a high volume of workload and meet deadlines
- Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system
- Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service centre locations
- Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries
- Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts
- Maintain excellent organization of parts room to standard
- Additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
What You'll Bring
- Degree or Certificate in Automotive industry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Great problem-solving skills, and strong ability to take initiative and be proactive
- Positive, enthusiastic, and willing to learn about the changes in the personal transportation industry and Tesla products and services
- Able to obtain Tesla forklift certification if required
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25kg, climb or balance, kneel or crouch in order to reach and be able to retrieve parts
- Ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department
