Mo te tunga | About the role

As a Change Manager within the Delivery Capability team, you will be a critical part of achieving the success of significant initiatives impacting our NZ Police, their partners, and the public. It is a hands on, delivery role which guides and influences change through the project delivery lifecycle in order to ensure business readiness and the successful delivery of NZ Police business outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop, own, and manage key change management artefacts
  • Own relationships and engagement with key stakeholders
  • Undertake change impact assessments, drawing conclusions from the analysis and identifying the change interventions required
  • Coordinate and oversee any training collateral and communications
  • Develop and lead change readiness assessments
  • Develop transition plans and activities to embed the process and system changes in the business
  • Measure change effectiveness and identifying learnings across the work stream
  • Align work stream change plans and products to wider programme change initiatives

  • Previous experience as a change professional delivering people, process, policy or technology change is required. Qualifications such as PROSCI, APMG, or CMI is desirable.

To be eligible for this role, you may be asked to obtain and maintain a CONFIDENTIAL national security clearance.

The minimum criteria for this level of national security clearance is:

NZ Citizen who has resided continuously in NZ for the last 10 years, or:

  • A Permanent Resident who has resided continuously in NZ for the last 10 years, or
  • A citizen of or has resided continuously in one or more of the following countries for the last 10 years: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, or United States of America, and has a background that can be verified by the NZSIS.

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $110,425 - $117,014 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
