Our Renal Service is looking for an experienced full-time Clinical Physiologist - Renal to join our haemodialysis service. The role will be based in our three locations in the Waitemata District. A short supernumerary orientation will be provided. Familiarity with Fresenius haemodialysis machines would be an advantage (although it is not essential).
The successful applicant when orientated will be assigned duties on the afterhours emergency / on-call haemodialysis roster.
The successful applicant will be passionate about caring for - and caring about renal patients. Our Clinical Physiologists have a positive approach to providing high quality, safe and effective haemodialysis care to a broad spectrum of haemodialysis patients. You should demonstrate excellence in the skills of haemodialysis and have a sound technical knowledge of this machine-based therapy. In addition to your years of clinical experience in the physiologist role, you will possess excellent communication skills, be motivated and have experience of being a member of a team that works collaboratively to facilitate and coordinate care to achieve best health outcomes for patients. Our renal physiologists and registered nurses work together to provide expert dialysis-nursing care to our growing number of haemodialysis patients.
