About the Role
As a Clinical Resource Nurse in our Relief Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality nursing care across various inpatient areas of the hospital. This dynamic position offers variety and the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise by working with diverse teams and patient groups.
You’ll be supporting departments by filling in short-term staffing gaps and assisting with patient flow, ensuring continuity of care across the hospital. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives on adaptability, and values teamwork.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Relief Team is a highly skilled, flexible group of nurses who work across multiple specialties within the hospital. You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced team committed to delivering safe and effective patient care.

About you
As a Clinical Resource Nurse, you will bring:
- A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
- At least 2 years of post-registration nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and prioritisation skills
- Flexibility to work across different specialties and shifts
- A team-focused approach and excellent communication skills
