About the role
We are looking for a Coordinator - Communications to work with a dynamic team dedicated to making information about New Zealand's increasingly renewable electricity industry clear and engaging.
You will have a relevant qualification and/or equivalent work experience - a great opportunity for a recent communications graduate!
Key responsibilities
You will support the organisation through:
- coordinating and compiling weekly communications reports, meeting notes, and other documentation to support team operations and decision-making
- maintaining and updating digital platforms, including websites and intranet, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and aligned with the Authority's brand
- support communications initiatives and events, including content creation, logistics, and stakeholder engagement across internal and external audiences
- providing general communications and administrative support, including brand enforcement, stakeholder interaction, inbox management, phone queries and team coordination.
Are you someone with the following?
- A can-do attitude with a high level of initiative. You'll be keen to learn on the job and get stuck in to support the mahi of the communications team
- Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 particularly Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and high level of accuracy
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
