Role Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time (minimum of 30 hours per week- 45 hours per week)
- Working Hours: Must be available for early morning or late-night check ins or check outs
- Wage Rate: $30- $ 35
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily bar, restaurant, liquor and motel sales, operations, and compliance, ensuring seamless functioning and effective team management.
Planning, managing, and organising special functions, sporting, gaming, and entertainment activities.
Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities.
Observing liquor, gaming, health and other laws and regulations.
Monitoring quality at all stages of preparation and presentation of food and services.
Plan and implement marketing campaigns to promote the business. Managing websites and social media.
Attend to customers and address complaints as required.
Controlling the selection, training, and supervision of staff. Ensure all staff adhere to health, alcohol, and relevant regulations.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Foster strong relationships with suppliers. Act as the primary contact for vendors, technicians, DJs, security, and other representatives. Deal with council and licensing authorities and gaming service providers.
Create rosters, keep employee records, work with accountants for GST, PAYE or taxation purposes.
Create and achieve sales target and budgets. Oversee and maintain all record keeping for business and stock records of liquor, Bar, restaurant, gaming and accommodation.
Experience Required:
- Excellent administrative and communication skills.
- Current Manager Certificate.
- At least 2 years of experience in Business management OR qualification at least degree level.
- Experience and understanding of gaming machines required
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Must be available for late-night work
- Pass Drug test and ready to relocate to________________
