This 10-month fixed-term opportunity is best suited to a purchasing extraordinaire who can utilise their strong analytic mindset within their purchasing and supplier management remit. Tasked with placing purchase orders for allocated product groups and ensuring correct mix is ordered each week to meet future in-market supply demands, this diverse role in a dynamic company will incorporate all aspects of order management, to ensure we have the right product, in the right place, at the right time, and the right cost.
Reporting to the Global Purchasing Team Leader, you will:
- Manage all aspects of purchase order management from the beginning stages gathering customer requirements, through to ensuring on time delivery in market
- Effectively manage all master data within the order book
- Maintain pricing
- Facilitate the weekly global scheduling meetings
- Drive supplier action to meet agreed KPI targets
- Actively works with customers, constantly validating their requirements and tailoring output to meet and exceed their needs
- Manage NPI ordering, daily/weekly output reviews and communication back to the NPI team
- Be responsible for clear market communication
- Relevant master data parameters
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A curious and driven nature
- Be data and insight focused and a confident communicator
- Proven relevant supply chain and purchasing experience
- Executional purchasing and supplier management experience
- Exposure to complex manufacturing environment, shipping to a multi-facility supply chain preferable
- Exposure to shipping and logistics environment highly beneficial
- Demonstrated customer service background
- JDE/Oracle experience highly desirable
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
