About the role
We are seeking a HSE Performance & Systems Coordinator to join our Risk, Health, Safety, Environment and Assurance (RHSEA) team.
This position works collaboratively with the RHSEA Team to provide a range of HSE performance and systems focused coordination services, including improvements, in support of an integrated business solutions and partnership model. Delivering capability development and fit-for-purpose HSE practices through the accurate capture, moderation and reporting of data, digital and management systems optimisation and improvement, and providing support to the HSE Team to set them up for success. This role is designed to enhance business unit HSE performance through efficiency and optimisation of systems to enhance our employee experience.
This is an interesting and varied role with plenty of learning to keep you interested and engaged. It also includes facilitating the delivery of HSE change initiatives with key stakeholders across the business, training staff in the use of RHSEA databases and systems and developing and delivering new and existing HSE training materials and presentations for subcontractors and employees.
You will join a strong, passionate and knowledgeable team who look out for one another and are absolutely committed to everyone's safety. The team pride themselves on having a consultative approach to the work that they do, working closely with key stakeholders across the business. Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health and Safety role, with a good understanding of Health and Safety practices, as well as broad experience in a related HSE administration and/or performance reporting role.
- Achievement of a Certificate in Health and Safety.
- Experience with HSE document management systems.
- Experience working with databases and tracking systems.
- Experience analysing data and reporting.
- Intermediate and above skill level in Microsoft Office Suite, Vault or other Health and Safety software.
- Current and valid NZ Drivers Licence.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable
- Intermediate and above skill level in 365 SharePoint, Power BI, Articulate Rise or equivalent.
- Experience delivering group training or presentations to small groups.
