About the Role
Join Te Toka Tumai Auckland and be part of our growing Children’s Radiology Department, part of the Clinical Support Directorate. Our dynamic, diverse and expansive department is supported by a team of skilled professionals who offer exceptional guidance and support.
We operate a 24/7 service with rostered shifts, offering an excellent opportunity for self-motivated Radiographers with strong technical skills and a keen interest in all areas of paediatric imaging.

We have a permanent full-time role available for qualified Medical Imaging Technologists (MIT’s).

About the Team/Service
As an integral member of our radiology team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic accuracy. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative and supportive team environment. Our services include imaging for Inpatients, Emergency Department and Outpatients as well as Starship Operating Theatres. Our Radiology department is equipped with three state of the art DR X-ray Units, including a brand new Siemens Multitom Rax, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, portable and theatre imaging. As a team of 20 MITs, with a wide range of experience and skillset, we provide a supportive environment for all new staff with a comprehensive orientation programme, on-going mentoring and continuous opportunities for further training and growth.
About you
You will have a passion for providing the highest levels of clinical quality and the best standards of personalised care possible to our patients.
To be successful in the role:
- You must be registered with the New Zealand MRT Board and have a current APC to be considered. For more details visit: mrtboard.org.nz
- Prior experience in Paediatric Imaging is desirable, though not a requirement
