About the Role
As a Nurse Educator – Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality education to nursing staff across our oncology services. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support clinical best practice, improve patient outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous learning. Your days will include developing education plans, mentoring nurses, contributing to policy development, and supporting quality initiatives.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and excellence of Emergency nursing within a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our team remains at the forefront of evidence-based care while making a real difference in the lives of patients presenting to ED.

About you
As a Nurse Educator, you will bring:
- A current New Zealand Registered Nurse Annual Practising Certificate
- Significant clinical experience in Emergency Nursing
- Postgraduate qualification in nursing or education (or working towards)
- Proven ability to lead and inspire others in clinical education
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
