A Foreperson will lead their crew to deliver work on time, to budget, safely, and to the highest quality standard. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of a variety of projects throughout Otago.
You will be:
  • Ensuring management of a safe work environment for all employees, subcontractors and the public on all your worksites.
  • Competing all documentation required for the role including time sheets, daily job sheets, prestart inspections, plant usage sheets, quality checklists, hazard IDs.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out skilfully, efficiently, to schedule and to the highest quality standard.
  • Coordinating, planning and organising plant, labour, sub-contractors suppliers as required for projects or works.

We’re looking for someone with:
  • Minimum of 5 years construction experience
  • Full Class 1 licence
  • Up to Class 5 licence with WTR endorsement recommended
  • Staff supervision experience
  • Relevant experience of industry principals and practical application
  • Be able to interpret and deliver against plans
  • Experience with communication to and leading others
