We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our fantastic team based in Greenlane, Central Auckland.
Working for this busy and ambitious not for profit organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing the full Payroll function from start to finish; ensuring all HR and Payroll data is captured accurately and efficiently.
- Overseeing the payroll team to ensure the processing of data relating to salaries, wages, allowances and other payments/deductions are maintained efficiently
- Prepare IRD and ACC returns on a timely basis
- Understanding and maintaining the Chris 21/iChris payroll software including, Time and Attendance module
- Work closely with management to ascertain future payroll needs and system enhancements
- Maintain budget information
- Create custom reports alongside the Business Analyst
- Continuously analyse areas for process improvement
About you:
- Previous experience with Chris21/iChris is essential
- Ability to complete payroll functions for 1000+ staff
- Able to work within a complex CEA environment
- Proven experience in leading a small team, as well as being an excellent team player
