About the role:
The Lyttelton Port Company (LPC) is looking for someone to join the team as a Receival and Delivery Administrator. This is an exciting busy role within LPC to assist with the day-to-day operation of the Vehicle Booking System (VBS) and the Venus System.
The successful candidate will provide support to our busy Operations Team through the coordination and management of gate operations for cars and containers and be capable of developing and maintaining strong commercial relationships with all Stakeholders.
Specific duties include:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the VBS and Venus System
- Being the first point of contact for all VBS and Venus enquiries, customer's queries and troubleshooting
- Invoicing, reporting and other administrative duties as required
- Stakeholder engagement and management
About you:
You will be someone with strong problem-solving skills, who enjoys building and maintaining good customer relationships over the phone and via email.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Proven operational ability and strong analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft suite
- Had previous experience in a high-level customer service environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working both autonomously and as part of a team
- Previous experience within the transport sector would be advantageous
