This is a key position within our Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG), responsible for leading asset management strategy and intelligence across the Te Waipounamu Region.
You'll oversee the planning, coordination, and optimisation of our regional asset systems, from buildings and equipment to data and compliance. You'll work closely with regional and national teams to ensure our infrastructure is safe, sustainable, and aligned with national priorities.
About the Team
Our IIG team is focused on delivering high-impact infrastructure investments that support the transformation of New Zealand's health system. We provide oversight and assurance across projects and programmes, ensuring our health facilities are fit-for-purpose and future ready.
About You
You're someone who brings a strong mix of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and people leadership. - Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving capability uplift.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle planning, maintenance strategies, and risk-based investment prioritisation.
- Experience working with national frameworks, governance processes, and reporting standards.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across regional and national teams.
- Familiarity with asset management systems and data platforms, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
