What’s on offer?
An opportunity has now arisen for a Site HSEQ Advisor to join our Bunbury team, reporting to the HSEQ Lead for our Infrastructure Services business. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter to make their mark in the civil construction and road maintenance industries, who has a passion for Safety and who can provide effective advice and support to our Managers and site staff.
Your Contribution
- Attending pre-starts and conducting toolbox talks.
- Conducting workplace risk assessments, site assessments and site inductions.
- Conducting safety audits and inspections and safety stats reporting.
- Drafting safety, environmental and emergency response management plans.
- Conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis (ICAM)
- Injury management and return to work programs.
- Subcontractor management, people and mobile plant inductions.
Let’s Connect
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- Demonstrated experience in safety roles across civil construction projects.
- Knowledge of ICAM or TapRoot.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with WHS safety software systems.
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience with behaviour-based safety programs.
- Ability to work away on a variety of DIDO rosters (5/2, 10/4, 2/1) as required for project needs.
Ideally, your approach to safety will be one of supporting, coaching and mentoring the business, and you will be flexible, adaptable and possess strong communication skills. You will have an ability to build and maintain relationships across all divisions and levels and possess knowledge of road maintenance and asphalt.
