We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated senior Product Owner (formally titled Product Owner) to join our Automation Services team. We are looking for a proactive candidate who will bring their strengths in communication, facilitation and passion to see this team succeed during this period of establishment and growth.
This position will be based in our Digital Services department supporting the Business Platforms Manager. Your key role will be to grow business and technical capabilities to support the wider organisation.
As a Product Owner, you will:
- evaluate business value and prioritisation of work in the team backlog
- be the go-to person for product information, representing customer and stakeholder interests in the product to the delivery team.
- prepare information and participate in key Governance forums
- establish and foster key business relationships internally and externally
- match technology solutions with business strategies through the strength of your connections and your collaborative approach
- help establish and market our Automation Toolkit that supports our business partners
- develop product roadmaps to deliver on our vision
This is a full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, with a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per annum depending on skills and experience. For more information on the role, please view the Position Description.

- The successful candidate will bring motivation and strong experience in larger organisations as a Product Owner, experience in managing a Product backlog is essential.
- You’ll be methodical in your approach to structuring your workload and be comfortable working within an Agile (Scrum) framework.
- Able to work collaboratively with the Product Practice, Practice Leads, and other Platform Product Owners.
- Your strengths in relationship building and business partnership management will be integral to your success in this role.
- You will be adept at engaging with staff and working collaboratively, with a solutions-focused attitude that means you’re confident identifying and implementing practical solutions.
- Comfortable working in hybrid environments.
