Territory Sales Manager

The Role
Permobil New Zealand is seeking a passionate Territory Sales Manager to cover the lower North Island, with a focus on key areas including Wellington and Palmerston North. You will be responsible for managing a territory, delivering solutions to end users and their whanau/families, developing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and accounts. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets. You will support therapists and end users in territory/region to select the product(s) best suited to each user’s situation, referring to clinical research and product design features/USPs.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Manage and grow a designated sales territory by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships with existing clients.
- Prepare and deliver accurate quotes, set up product trials for therapists and funders, and provide final pricing upon product selection.
- Confidently demonstrate the full Permobil product range to individuals and groups, delivering engaging in-services and clinical support to external stakeholders.
- Ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately in both paper and digital formats.
- Work in a variety of settings, including client homes, clinics, and community environments, always prioritise safety for clients, caregivers, and yourself during all interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client concerns and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain and manage the sales pipeline, keeping detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery, and to meet customer requirements efficiently.
- Take responsibility for inventory allocated to sales activities, proactively managing stock to support business needs.
- Represent Permobil at trade shows, company events, and industry functions as required.
- Monitor account performance, analyse sales data, and provide regular updates and actionable insights to management.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings, sharing relevant insights with the team.
- Always adhere to Permobil’s Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
