We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our busy and fast-paced workshop. This is your opportunity to lead a high-performing team, ensure our fleet and equipment stay in top condition, and drive real improvements that matter to the business.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong mechanical know-how, and knows how to bring out the best in people and processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a skilled team to deliver quality results
  • Planning and prioritising maintenance across a diverse fleet of vehicles, trucks, and heavy plant
  • Ensuring servicing and repairs are carried out safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Using your operational acumen to reduce costs and lift performance
  • Coordinating fleet servicing and compliance using E-road and other systems
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Championing a strong safety-first culture in everything we do
  • Supporting staff development, training, and succession planning
  • Driving continuous improvement and shaping the future of the workshop

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar workshop or fleet leadership role
  • Hands-on mechanical knowledge and solid troubleshooting skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities
  • Confidence using fleet management systems (E-road experience a plus)
  • A sharp focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • The ability to juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure
