The role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will join our knowledgeable and experienced finance team and be supported by great training and shared expertise across the business. Working with the Finance team, you’ll be responsible for providing support to the team to allow for effective reporting and meeting Crown’s financial, statutory and contractual compliance obligations. This includes supporting month-end preparation, monthly and periodic reporting to APAC and SMT, and statistical returns, but will also include such tasks as completing daily bank reconciliations, maintaining the AP & DD schedule, and coding of supplier invoices, amongst others.
This is a fulltime, 6 month fixed term role, based in our Support Office in East Tamaki in Auckland.
Requirements
About you
We’re looking for someone who has the experience to take on a short-term assignment. To shine in this role, you’ll bring a positive solutions-focused attitude and strong attention-to-detail skills. An accounting qualification and a minimum of 3 year’s experience in accounting or finance, together with great time management skills, experience in Excel and finance software will help you enter this role. Whilst experience in the industrial service or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous, it’s not absolutely essential, as we’re looking for someone who is an agile learner. You will need to be a team player and have great customer service/relationship skills when it comes to dealing with your internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll need to be able to start immediately.
