We’re Walter & Wild, and we’re not your typical FMCG company. We look after some of New Zealand’s most iconic brands like Vitasport, Gregg’s table sauces, Aunt Betty’s, Killinchy Gold and many more. We’re proud of the work we do to keep them front and center in stores across the country.
We’re looking for a merchandiser to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. It’s part-time and covers stores across Auckland. The hours are during school hours, so this could be a great fit if you’re balancing work with family life.
This isn’t just about stocking shelves. You’ll be building eye-catching displays, setting up relays, and making sure our products stand out in-store. You’ll mainly be working in Woolworths, but you may be asked to help with relays and displays at The Warehouse and cover for our other Merchandisers at Pak’nSave stores, so flexibility is important.
You’ll report to our Territory Manager in South Auckland and also work closely with our North/West Auckland Territory Manager. So, being organised, clear with communication, and comfortable working independently is key.

You'll be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy working on your own but also know how to build strong relationships in-store
- Have good communication skills and a bit of sales instinct
- Can plan your day and manage your time well
- Don’t mind physical work like lifting and stocking
- Have a reliable car and a full NZ driver’s license
- Have a store pass (preferred but not essential)
- Are flexible and up for the occasional curveball
