We’re on the lookout for a collaborative and driven ADMS Cartographer / Network Planner to help maintain the visibility and integrity of our electricity network. This is a critical role for someone who thrives on accuracy, teamwork, and translating changes in the physical network into digital clarity across our systems.
If you’ve worked in GIS, SCADA, System Control or Planning, have a couple of years’ industry experience, and want to be part of a team that supports the safe and efficient running of the network - we want to hear from you!

  • Building and checking network patches across geographic and schematic views
  • Supporting outage coordination and safe switching sequences
  • Collaborating with Controllers, GIS and system vendors to ensure visibility and accuracy
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data issues related to network changes
  • Work to continually improve outage planning process.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience working in GIS or SCADA (3+ years’ industry experience preferred)
  • Background working in engineering teams, operations control, or network systems
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills
  • A flexible, team-oriented attitude and an eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work under pressure and contribute to time-critical decisions

What’s in it for you?
In this role, you will:

  • Benefit from competitive remuneration and career development opportunities
  • Receive well-being support including Kaitiaki Peer Support Network and EAP
  • Be able to purchase an extra week of annual leave
  • Receive fuel cards and a wide range of lifestyle discounts
  • Have development and upskilling opportunities in a high-impact technical role
  • Be part of a company that’s essential to powering homes and businesses across the North Island
