About the role - Mō te tūranga
As our Auckland Area Manager, you’ll take full ownership of our most high-profile site and provide leadership across satellite branches in the region. This role reports directly to the General Manager Operations and is critical to ensuring service excellence, commercial success, and team accountability.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, developing, and coaching high-performing branch and operations teams
- Driving delivery and scanning performance
- Managing branch financials, identifying cost variances, and improving utilisation
- Lifting customer experience and addressing service issues directly
- Ensuring site safety and compliance remain top priority
- Creating a strong performance culture focused on operational excellence

We’re looking for an experienced and driven operations leader with a track record of leading large, fast-paced environments — someone who thrives in complexity and leads from the front.
You’ll also bring:
- 7+ years in a senior operational leadership role (transport, logistics, or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on margin, cost, and utilisation
- Proven ability to lead and influence teams across multiple sites
- A safety-first mindset and experience driving a high-performing culture
- A collaborative, customer-centric approach to people and operations
