We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team in Whanganui and be hands on with both our Drainage and Civil Construction teams. This is a leadership role that involves managing and supervising construction crews, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, to the required specifications, and with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.
In addition to the above you will:
- Coordinate projects and resource management including organising and managing team, scheduling tasks and allocating resources such as materials, equipment and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations as met, conduct site safety checks, inspect work progress, and verify that completed jobs meet project specifications and standards.
- Provide clear communication with stakeholders, including subcontractors and clients, as well as proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.

Who are we looking for?
- A proven track record of supervising teams in the construction industry
- Experience in developing project plans, scheduling work and task assignments
- Effective service delivery and interaction with customers and stakeholders
- 5+ years of industry experience is advantageous
- Full Class 2 licence – Class 4 with WTR preferred
- 3 Waters experience and/or qualification desirable.
