The Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dietitian to join our close-knit and innovative team within the Assessment, Treatment, and Rehabilitation Service at Middlemore Hospital.
The ideal applicant is self-motivated and enjoys working in a flexible and challenging environment. You will have great communication skills, be able to think outside the box, manage your time efficiently, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a strong, quality-focused team. You will also be involved in training dietetic students and encouraged to participate in service development and project work.
The employment package includes a refund of your annual practicing certificate, support towards the cost of your Dietitians New Zealand subscription, and a personal study allowance. We provide and support regular professional development opportunities, practice reviews, performance development planning, and regular professional supervision.
Essential:
- BCapSc or BSc, and Post Grad Dip Diet or MSc Dietetics (or equivalent as recognised by the NZ Dietitians Board).
- NZRD with current annual practicing certificate endorsed with prescribing rights
- Clinical experience and knowledge of dietetic practice
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Cultural awareness and understanding
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
