As the GTE Administrator you will be a vital part of the team that supports the delivery of qualifications to Corrections staff through the New Zealand Corrections Government Training Establishment (GTE). This position is focused on providing high-quality administrative support to the GTE team, including the administration of learner data from external providers and the reporting of assessments to NZQA. Your work will also include the administration of qualification programmes and data analysis of GTE activity in the GTE Learning Management system and Qualifications database.
Some of your day-to-day activities will include:
- Keeping learner records up to date across internal systems and external platforms.
- Extracting learner data, creating reports, and building visual dashboards that help the team understand progress and performance.
- Helping to maintain documentation for the Quality Management System while looking for efficiencies in our data management processes.
- Working closely with our external partners, such as NZQA and other training providers.
- Providing general advice and administrative support to the team, assisting with assessment queries, and escalating any risks appropriately.

To be successful for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate the following in your application:
- Proven experience in administrative support, ideally within a learning and capability environment.
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and MS Forms, with a creative eye for design and the ability to present information in a clear, visual format.
- High proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS), with the ability to extract data and generate reports.
- Strong understanding of NZQA processes, including workplace assessment, accreditation, and audit requirements.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

The midpoint of the salary range is $67,988 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $57,824 - $81,586 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
