Jup Maintenance Services Limited is seeking a Handyman to join their team in the Auckland Region. The successful applicant will be primarily based in Auckland but may also be required to work at other sites in the nearby regions such as Bay of Plenty and Waikato. All travel-related costs will be covered by the employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, cleaning facilities and managing maintenance repairs.
- Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc.
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
- Undertake light installation or assist in carpenter work
- Digging holes and shovelling excavated material onto conveyors, wheelbarrows and trucks for removal
- Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding
- Assisting with assembling and installing piping, valves and fitting
- Assisting with installing fixtures such as toilets, wash basins and sprinkler systems
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
Work Hours and Benefits
- Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Paid between $25 to $30 per hour.
Other requirements:
- Experience as handyman will be preferred but not mandatory.
- Available to work on weekends.
- A Valid Driver’s license is required.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Dedicated and detail-oriented.
