6am to 2.30pm
At New World Broadway we’re famous for our Fresh Food and that certainly applies to our Deli Kitchen where we have a wide range of store made product which is Ready to Eat, Ready to Heat, and Ready to Cook.
We have a large experienced team consisting of 20 staff in total including 11 full-time and nine part-time. Key duties of this Head Chef/Cook role will include….
- Cook and prepare our high volume and signature food items for the Deli, Seafood, and Meat service counters to the highest quality.
- Supervision of the Assistant Cook in the Deli Kitchen
- Ensure a high level of presentation for serving.
- Develop new products and a living menu that transcends seasons.
- Be a champion for our Food Control Plan (FCP), and compliance procedures in the store.
The preferred applicant will need to have either a cooking qualification or at least 3 years’ experience cooking in a commercial kitchen. We offer training and career opportunities, great facilities, and promise to work as hard for you as you do for us
