Position: Horticultural Plant Operator

Key Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience or level 4 or above qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as tractors, sprayers, mulchers, or pruning aids across orchard blocks
- Perform pre- and post-operation equipment checks
- Apply crop protection and nutrients using orchard-specific machinery
- Transport fruit bins or equipment using trailers or towed machines
- Assist with machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
- Collaborate with orchard supervisors to execute work plans
- Report any issues or hazards encountered during operations
- Ensure machinery is cleaned and stored appropriately after use
- Adhere to operational schedules during harvest or spray windows
- Follow all workplace safety protocols and procedures

Position: Orchard Manager

Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience or level 4 or above qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of orchard operations from planting to harvest
- Manage teams of workers and allocate tasks during busy periods
- Prepare and implement crop protection and fertilisation schedules
- Monitor crop health, growth stages, and implement pest/disease controls
- Maintain irrigation and fertigation systems
- Liaise with agronomists, contractors, and management for productivity goals
- Maintain operational and harvest records
- Supervise machinery and tool usage and organise servicing
- Conduct staff performance assessments and provide training
- Ensure health and safety compliance across all work activities
- Assist in budgeting, inventory, and reporting to senior management
- Plan orchard improvement and sustainability initiatives

Position: Site Manager

Key Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience or level 4 or above qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise orchard workers on-site, ensuring tasks are completed to quality and safety standards
- Coordinate daily activities including thinning, pruning, and picking
- Allocate tools, machinery, and PPE to teams as per requirements
- Monitor progress and provide real-time feedback to workers
- Train new staff in standard operating procedures and safety
- Inspect work quality and report issues to the Orchard Manager
- Record daily productivity, attendance, and incidents
- Ensure work is completed according to seasonal crop plans
- Liaise with machinery operators and logistics teams during harvest
- Manage equipment availability and minor site logistics
- Conduct regular health and safety briefings
- Support Orchard Manager in planning and reporting tasks
