The Role
As the new Import & Export Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of the operations—ensuring the seamless flow of goods across borders while working alongside a vibrant, supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process, from booking through to customs clearance
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and maximize efficiency
- Oversee data entry, invoicing, and cartage while maintaining strong customer and supplier relationships
- Arrange and manage transportation services (trucking, sea freight, air freight) tailored to each shipment
- Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation to ensure compliance with trade regulations
- Track and monitor shipments, proactively resolving any delays or issues
- Analyze costs and revenues to safeguard profit margins
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in air freight logistics (sea freight knowledge a plus)
- Familiarity with Cargowise (or similar logistics software) is desirable
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
