About the Role
As an Information Systems Specialist, you will support the Information Management (IM) Team and system users with technical expertise across our national content/document systems. The primary focus of this role is to maintain compliance with the Public Records Act 2005, while maintaining a simple user experience as we manage and enhance the system.
In this role you will be the key integrator between the IM Team, the end users, and the Data Services team as new upgrades are launched, third party tools are added and issues and problems resolved.
About the Team & Service
Our team of information management professionals are responsible for the compliant and effective management of Health NZ's information and records. Our role aims to raise the information management maturity of the organisation and seeks to influence this through the provision of services, advice, solutions and tools to help the organisation manage its information effectively. The team manages a hybrid collection of tools and services for digital and physical records, combining the modern workplace tools of M365 with a range of 3rd party tools to manage current and legacy records.
About you
You will be an expert in managing user permissions, metadata and taxonomy, content types, classification and additional records management, provisioning and governance tools used across the corporate records ecosystem. You will have experience facilitating systems in line with the Information and Records Management Standard.
You will have:
- 5+ years' experience in administration of the Microsoft M365 environment, especially SharePoint
- An understanding of integration of 3rd party tools with M365
- Experience integrating Public Records Act 2005 compliance requirements into content management systems
- Excellent skills in customer service delivery, stakeholder management and mentoring or colleagues
