We are seeking an experienced Manager Digital Payments & e-Invoicing Adoption to oversee the strategic alignment, delivery, and optimization of our digital payment systems, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and e-Invoicing across ACC.

Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
Based in our Enterprise Procurement team and reporting to the Head of Enterprise Procurement, this role is a 12-month fixed term or secondment assignment responsible for delivering a digital payments project.
Ngā Haepapa Mahi | Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead and drive the adoption of digital payment solutions, ensuring efficient and compliant payment processes.
- Provide strategic oversight and governance for P2P and e-Invoicing, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Enhance business processes and integrate digital payment systems across functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize resource utilization.
- Support the digital transformation of procurement and payment functions.
- High commitment to compliance and customer-centric payment processes.
The base salary range for this role is $138,301 – $195,248 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring:
- Significant experience in leading complex, large-scale projects and programmes in dynamic environments, and demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams and strategic business initiatives.
- The ability to inspire, lead, and manage teams effectively.
- Experience working with digital payment systems, procurement technologies, and e-Invoicing.
- Significant experience presenting complex information and providing advice and recommendations to senior leaders, Executive Leadership teams and Governing Groups on large scale programmes of work, including developing content and insights that help make informed decisions.
- You’ll be an influencer and problem solver; you apply a partnership approach to your work and have a strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills; you can quickly build key relationships, gaining and maintaining trust and credibility across all levels.
- A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, IT, Project Management, or related field and Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
