NZ Police is currently seeking an exceptional Manager Organisational Development to join their dedicated and collaborative People Group.
In this critical role you will contribute to the development of enterprise People Strategy and lead the design of frameworks and initiatives that will build capability across NZ Police.
As a key leader for the People Group, and reporting to the Director People Strategy, you will be responsible for playing an integral role in the development and implementation of portfolios of work focused on delivering the desired employee experience, enhancing engagement, capability development, organisational psychology and enabling high performance. The OD team is also responsible for the delivery of the honours and awards process.

We are seeking an experienced leader who brings a strong track record of leading organisational development teams to deliver outstanding people initiatives that contribute to lifting organisational culture and capability.
To be considered for this position, your knowledge and experience will include:
Significant leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior OD leadership position
A depth of experience leading the development of people capability strategies and initiatives, associated frameworks, policies, and systems.
Have experience working within large complex organisations or similar role within the public sector.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and credibility at a senior level.
Experience working in a large, complex environment.
An empowering and inclusive leadership approach with the ability to mentor and enhance the overall capability in people.
Experience in dealing with ambiguity, demonstrating sound judgement and composure.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary will commence between $171,055 and $190,061 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
