Job Summary:

About Live Nation:

Join the team at Live Nation, where innovation meets live entertainment on a global scale! With 40,000 shows and 500 million tickets sold each year, we’re the industry leader, powered by 44,000 talented individuals worldwide. At Live Nation, we’re passionate about transforming live events and creating extraordinary moments for artists, event professionals, and fans.

About the role:

Are you a results-driven and relationship-focused professional with a passion for live music and festivals? We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract, driving sponsorship revenue and festival-led partnership initiatives across some of New Zealand’s most exciting events, including Rhythm and Vines, Greenstone, and Endeavour.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, you’ll play a key role in delivering the commercial success of our sponsorship division. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building and nurturing relationships, crafting tailored partnership proposals, negotiating deals, and ensuring value is delivered for both partners and festival stakeholders.

If you thrive in a collaborative environment and can confidently lead high-level commercial conversations, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now with your CV and cover letter telling us why you’re the perfect fit for this role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving Sponsorship Revenue: Identify, pitch, and secure new partnership opportunities with a focus on local brands.
  • Crafting Proposals: Develop compelling, tailored sponsorship propositions that align with festival audiences and partner objectives.
  • Negotiating Deals: Lead commercial negotiations from initial pitch through to contract completion.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, festival management, and internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class partnerships.
  • Delivering Partner Value: Ensure partner rights, benefits, and activations are executed seamlessly on-site.
  • Maintaining Sales Tools: Create and update pitch decks, sales reports, WIP documents, and partnership databases.
  • Supporting Activations: Provide structured handovers and clear briefs to activation teams for smooth campaign delivery.

What you’ll bring:

  • Relevant Experience: 2–3 years in sponsorship, media, partnerships, or business development, ideally in music, entertainment, or events.
  • Proven Sales Success: A track record of securing and delivering sponsorship deals.
  • Festival & Event Insight: Strong understanding of festival audiences and live event partnership activation.
  • Negotiation Skills: Confident in leading commercial conversations and achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver engaging proposals and pitches.
  • Relationship Management: Skilled at building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Organisational Strength: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

The Benefits:

  • A vibrant, music-focused workplace fostering creativity and collaboration.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
  • Access to concerts, events, and other entertainment perks.
  • A diverse, equitable workplace where every voice matters.
  • Comprehensive benefits, from volunteer days to wellness programs and mental health support.

Equal Opportunities:

We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion. You will be working in an inclusive environment and be encouraged to bring your whole self to work. We will do all that we can to help you successfully balance your work and Homelife. As a growing business, we will encourage you to develop your professional and personal aspirations, enjoy new experiences, and learn from the talented people you will be working with. It's talent that matters to us and we encourage applications from people irrespective of their gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability status or caring responsibilities.
