About the role:
Are you a results-driven and relationship-focused professional with a passion for live music and festivals? We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to join our team for a 6-month fixed term contract, driving sponsorship revenue and festival-led partnership initiatives across some of New Zealand’s most exciting events, including Rhythm and Vines, Greenstone, and Endeavour.
Reporting to the Head of Brand Partnerships, you’ll play a key role in delivering the commercial success of our sponsorship division. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building and nurturing relationships, crafting tailored partnership proposals, negotiating deals, and ensuring value is delivered for both partners and festival stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:
- Driving Sponsorship Revenue: Identify, pitch, and secure new partnership opportunities with a focus on local brands.
- Crafting Proposals: Develop compelling, tailored sponsorship propositions that align with festival audiences and partner objectives.
- Negotiating Deals: Lead commercial negotiations from initial pitch through to contract completion.
- Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, festival management, and internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class partnerships.
- Delivering Partner Value: Ensure partner rights, benefits, and activations are executed seamlessly on-site.
- Maintaining Sales Tools: Create and update pitch decks, sales reports, WIP documents, and partnership databases.
- Supporting Activations: Provide structured handovers and clear briefs to activation teams for smooth campaign delivery.
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant Experience: 2–3 years in sponsorship, media, partnerships, or business development, ideally in music, entertainment, or events.
- Proven Sales Success: A track record of securing and delivering sponsorship deals.
- Festival & Event Insight: Strong understanding of festival audiences and live event partnership activation.
- Negotiation Skills: Confident in leading commercial conversations and achieving win-win outcomes.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver engaging proposals and pitches.
- Relationship Management: Skilled at building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Organisational Strength: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
