The opportunity:
- We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented part time (10 hours per week with the ability to flex up to more hours during busy period or leave) Payroll Officer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in assisting with the preparation and processing of payrolls for KPMG and its associated entities. Your high-quality responses to queries will help meet both internal and external client needs.
Day to day you will:
- Support the accurate and timely processing of employment payments and entitlements.
- Confidently address internal client queries about payment processes in a timely manner.
- Develop specialist technical knowledge in payroll functions.
- Stay informed about relevant employment and payroll legislation and innovations in the field.
- Identify and manage risks, escalating them to the Payroll Lead when necessary.
- Ensure a high standard of service, fostering positive client experiences.
- Effectively utilise professional software including Datacom and SAP.
About you:
- This role is ideally suited for a university student eager to gain practical experience while managing their studies.
- You have excellent time management skills, allowing you to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
- Your attention to detail ensures accuracy in every task you undertake.
- A diligent worker, you consistently strive to meet high standards and deliver quality results.
- Strong communication skills enable you to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
