About the role
We're on the lookout for a People & Culture Business Partner that loves attention to detail and problem solving - ready to hit the ground running with HR skills and knowledge. You’ll be working closely with another experienced Business Partner to support our large and varied Electricity team and will also be part of a connected and collaborative People & Culture team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys bouncing ideas around, sharing challenges, and working as part of a team to deliver meaningful outcomes and pragmatic solutions. If you're a naturally curious, people person and someone who thrives in a team environment, then you'll fit right in here.
The difference you’ll make:
- Coach our leaders and support their people navigate our People policies and procedures
- Partner with leaders to recruit the best people for our teams
- Create agreements and onboarding using our people systems
- Lead ER processes under the advice and support of senior members of the team
- Work with teams to build psychologically safe and rewarding environments
- Contribute positively to the culture of our team and the wider business
Skills & Experience
It’s not the be all and end all, but we'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Worked in a People Advisory role before so you’re ready to hit the ground running;
- understanding (and experience) of NZ employment legislation; and
- a passion for building great relationships and bringing plans to life.
Our investment in you:
- All the usual stuff, but way better – 4% Kiwi Saver, ability to buy extra leave, paid volunteer days, free fruit in the office, free Life and Medical Insurance – I know right!?
- We take a hands on based approach to team building and development, so lots of opportunity to learn and become accredited in various tools and frameworks.
- Working with a talented, supportive, and fun team - even if we do say so ourselves…
Applications close: Friday 5 September 2025
