We are looking for a Policy Asset Coordinator to assist our Policy Asset Analyst with the development, implementation and maintenance of the asset management databases and analysis for parks and council-owned properties. You’ll be busy collecting and maintaining accurate and high-quality data that supports informed and effective decision-making to support the management of our parks and property assets.
We are after someone who’s tech-savvy, community-minded, and a confident communicator. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is adaptable, quick off the mark, eager to learn, and brings a great attitude to the team. Ideally, you will have:
- Advanced IT skills – especially databases and spreadsheets. Some GIS knowledge is a plus.
- A good grasp of asset management or policy development and knowledge of parks and community facilities would be an advantage.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to contribute to the development of asset management plans, activity management plans, and related documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A willingness to embrace change.
