Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role    

This is a unique opportunity to be part of the Future Workforce team within the People and Culture business group. The Future Workforce team leads ACC’s exploration of the evolving workforce landscape, focusing on understanding people trends and their future impact to help shape workforce strategies. 

As a Principal Advisor, you are a thought leader with a strategic focus on the next two to five years. You will understand emerging technology trends and how they translate to our people and the workforce. 

The Principal Advisor, Digital Innovation brings a People and Culture perspective to the transformative work underway within ACC. This includes advancing ACC’s AI capability and contributing to the Future State work programme. 

In collaboration with Technology and Data, your role will involve shaping ACC’s digital future by analysing current technology trends and identifying opportunities to leverage innovation for workforce development.  

You will ensure ACC stays ahead of rapidly evolving technology. With deep strategic insight and subject matter expertise, you will provide guidance that supports the growth of these initiatives. 

A key success factor of this role is someone who can connect People & Culture in with key work across the organisation relating to technology that might have an impact on our kaimahi or their work, while also growing the AI and technology capability of People & Culture. This will require someone who can build meaningful relationships with people across many different disciplines and can influence why a people lens is important. 

This is a permanent role. Preference is for Wellington or Auckland location.

To be suitable for the Principal Advisor, Digital Innovation position, you will need to be an experienced thought leader who can demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of emerging technology such as AI, as well as your background in HR to develop pragmatic and relevant people solutions and ideas.

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $138,301 - $195,248 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
