We are seeking a highly organised and detail oriented Procure to Pay Specialist to join our team in Hamilton. In this role, you will be responsible for the review and oversight of the end-to-end procure to pay processes, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
A typical day can include:
- Timely auditing and control reviews of Procure to Pay processes and information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of contracts, and transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations related to procurement and payment processes.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to transactions, invoices, and payments in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyse contract and purchase order reports, providing insights.
- Provide training to the business on Procure to Pay processes and policies.
- Assist in finance systems reviews as a key representation of the Finance unit.
Qualifications

- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, contract management systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), expertise in excel and Power BI an advantage.
- Relevant experience in procure to pay environments.
- Relevant professional certifications and qualifications.
- Knowledge of procure to pay best practices, policies, and regulations.
- Familiarity with contract management and legal compliance.
- Familiarity with commercial contracts in a local government context.
