The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and impact-driven Project Management Lead to drive delivery and performance across a portfolio of high-impact, transformational projects. Reporting to the Value Stream Lead, you’ll own the execution of complex initiatives while growing and leading a team of Project Managers. This is a pivotal leadership role that blends hands-on project ownership with strategic oversight, ensuring delivery excellence and continuous improvement across our hardware and software programs.
You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of project delivery, from initial planning and stakeholder alignment through to handover and closure, ensuring risk is proactively managed, resources are effectively allocated, and timelines stay on track. Beyond delivery, you’ll help evolve how we work by setting standards, streamlining workflows, and embedding scalable, efficient processes to enable smarter, faster outcomes.
Your success will also be driven by your ability to foster collaboration across cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, operations, marketing, and product while continuously evolving our project management capability to meet the needs of a global business.
Be a key leader of execution and excellence:
- Lead the delivery of complex, strategic projects across the Security Value Stream
- Drive governance, portfolio performance and risk management across programs
- Grow and coach a team of Project Managers to deliver with focus, quality, and consistency
- Champion continuous improvement and define the tools, workflows, and standards that enable smarter, scalable project delivery
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment across internal and external partners to ensure successful outcomes
- Build a high-performance project culture based on transparency, accountability, and learning
The Fit
You’re a natural leader with a passion for delivering real outcomes through people, process, and performance. You thrive on complexity and know how to create clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. With the ability to influence at all levels, you’re confident managing risk, aligning cross-functional teams, and making smart decisions that move the dial.
You’ll bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Engineering, Project Management, or similar)
- Deep experience managing technical project portfolios, ideally in hardware or manufacturing contexts
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, governance, and performance reporting
- A track record of leading and mentoring high-performing teams
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across a wide range of stakeholders
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive operational efficiency
- The ability to simplify complexity, analyse risk, and make informed, agile decisions in changing environments
