Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi is a leader in mātauranga Māori and indigenous tertiary education, offering tertiary programmes from certificate to doctorate level. We are seeking a visionary Quality Manager to join our Academic Registry team. This pivotal role will lead the development and implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS). This role is central to ensuring alignment with NZQA standards and regulations. You will oversee our programme development suite and play a key role in embedding a culture of quality practice across the wānanga.
You will be instrumental in driving quality improvement, supporting strategic outcomes, and building strong relationships with internal and external communities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of wānanga and tertiary education in Aotearoa.
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership in quality assurance or academic development.
- Experience in the tertiary sector, including teaching and quality systems.
- Knowledge of TEC and NZQA requirements for tertiary institutions
