About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
We currently have opportunities available for experienced Senior Reporting Analyst to join our Client and Health Analytics teams. If you have well developed skills in SQL, written & visual Analytics, and Statistical Modelling then we’d love to hear from you. You will be curious, enjoy questioning the status quo and enjoy working in an organisation with a true appetite for transformational change.
As a Senior Analyst in the Client and Health Analytics teams, you will supporting the organisation with analytics’ products and advice, informing the design and implementation of operational and strategic initiatives.
You will provide leadership on the use of analytics methods to achieve your team’s goals, translating data into insight, advice, and information products. This will provide you with opportunities to implement a range of analytics and data solutions.
ACC has shifted its data analytics into the Cloud, giving our analysts the opportunity to work with analytical tools such as SQL, Snowflake and PBI.
About you | Mōu
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working alongside leaders to identify opportunities to provide insights and support effective decision making to improve operational performance.
- A strong understanding of and experience with complex data, querying databases and use of analytical tools and statistical techniques.
- Experience using SQL and Power BI (or similar tools) is required. Python, R and data science skills would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills along with business and analytical writing skills
- A demonstrated ability to think conceptually, and to translate new and emerging ideas into evidence-based insights and analysis.
- Good data visualisation and storytelling skills.
- A high level of initiative and the ability to challenge the status quo.
- Leadership qualities such as mentoring, coaching and end-to-end delivery.
- A tertiary qualification in areas such as Economics or Mathematics or Statistics with minimum of five year’s relevant work experience

The appointing salary for this role will sit between $106,351 and $131,077 and we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution.
