About the role:
We are seeking a Trade Lane Manager to join our team in Auckland, based at our Wiri site. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the GM of Sales. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-value opportunities across key trade lanes, with a strong focus on creating new client relationships whilst maintaining and growing existing accounts. You will drive partnership discussions, develop tailored customer solutions, and deliver revenue growth through strategic, solution-based selling.
This opportunity is ideal for a driven and customer focused Supply Chain professional who thrives on winning new business, building strong customer partnerships, and turning market insights into measurable results.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain business across key trade lanes.
- Drive customer development through sales at both origin and destination points.
- Create and execute a comprehensive route plan to identify top regional and industry opportunities.
- Collaborate with procurement teams for all modes of transport across pricing and costing strategies.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key decision makers at all levels including shipping lines, carriers, product management and overseas offices within the trade lane.
- Develop tailored solutions to meet customer requirements, with a focus on value creation.
