CHADHA 2014 LIMITED is currently looking for a professional and experienced Venue Manager to be part of the ongoing success of our Bar. As a Venue Manager you'll play an integral part in the day-to-day running of the venue as well as in leading, training, developing and motivating the team to deliver first-class customer services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an efficient, organized work space that encourages productivity at all times
- Complete daily operational tasks in a timely manner as balance all transaction using the daily cash up sheets at the end of the shift
- Note down all upcoming events and promote on social media
- Undertake manual stock count
- Liaise with customers regarding function planning
- Correspond with suppliers regarding stock ordering
- Manage day to day operations of Bar including answer customer enquiries and successfully turning them into sales, general admin and maintenance.
- Ensure stock is never running low and ensure to order when appropriate
- Supervise the delivery of all products
- Manage gaming machines include Customer Service, Weekly Banking, Financial Count ability, Balancing Shift, Harm Minimization, Identify problem Gambling, Host Responsibility .
- Ensure financial records are maintained
- Professional advisor for Problem gambling Awareness
- Create new ideas to ensure business can keep growth sustainable
- To ensure Good customer service all the time
- Discuss new business ideas with bar manager
- Organize upcoming up – coming function with new customers
- Perform general office duties as needed (sending/answering emails, phone calls, filing/electronically inputting forms, etc.)
- Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships
- Attend company meetings as required
- Train new hires in company processes and procedures
- Assist with budget creation
- Maintain open lines of communication between all departments
- Ensure Health and Safety Policies are adhered too
- Ensure all liquor laws AND Gaming Law are adhered too
The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $30 to $35 per hour.
Other requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is required
- The manager’s certificate & LCQ are highly preferable.
- Should be available to work on weekends and late evening shifts.
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to adjust to changing demands and unexpected situations.
- Team oriented and positive attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
