The Police Vetting Service is a key contributor to the wellbeing of New Zealanders. Our main purpose is to contribute to public safety (particularly the protection of vulnerable members of society) and national security, by providing Police vets for employers and others to assess the suitability of individuals for roles where safety and security considerations apply.



We are seeking multiple Vetting Analysts to join our team and play their part in keeping New Zealander's safe.

  • Develop and maintain a wide range of positive and collaborative working relationships

  • This role is based at the Police National Headquarters, Wellington.
  • Successful applicants are required to undergo Drug Alcohol Testing, Police Vetting and Reference Checks
  • The start date is scheduled for 17th November 2025 or potentially 12th January 2026.

Utu a-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence on $69,337.
